Taekwondo Camp

Come experience Taekwondo at summer camp! Taekwondo is translated “the way of the hands and feet” and is designed to enhance balance, agility, and flexibility. Courtesy, respect, perseverance, self-control, and positive thinking are the foundations for achieving success in martial arts training. Master Flemmings is a 7th degree black belt, and he has additional martial arts instruction in Karate, Mudukwan, Hapkido, Jujitsu, Krav Maga (Israeli Self Defense) and Hwa Rang Do.  A three-piece, white martial arts uniform set with a V-neck top, pants, and belt is recommended. If you do not have a uniform, sweatpants or long, athletic pants and a t-shirt are acceptable for camp.  No shorts or dresses are allowed. Open to students entering grades K-7. Before and after care are NOT available for the camps at George Washington Carver Elementary (June 8-26). Before care available for morning camps held at Community Ed (June 29-July 17). After care available for afternoon camps held at Community Ed (June 29-July 17).
