Kids in the Kitchen - Quick and Easy Recipes This class is devoted to the practical application of everyday ingredients and everyday kitchen items. Students will learn how to use kitchen items such as measuring cups and spoons, griddle, and small cooktop to create dishes utilizing ingredients found in most kitchens. This six-class session focuses on proper prep and clean-up along with creating breakfast, lunch, dinner, desserts, and snack Items. Students will read and follow recipes to create delicious food to enjoy. This class is all about learning basic cooking skills and enjoying cooking something of your very own. At the end of the class, you will know basic kitchen prep and skills to make simple meal items. You will also be able to take home all the recipes done in class to share with your family and friends. Note: This class is held at Bryan County Elementary. Transport is available for After School Program (ASP) students. Parents must drop off and pick up students not enrolled in ASP at the start and end times of class.
