Pickleball is one of the fastest-growing sports in the country—and it’s coming to Community Education! This class offers middle school students a fun and active way to learn the game while spending time with friends. Each session will include games, music, and plenty of playtime on the courts. Students will learn the rules, practice skills, and develop strategies in a relaxed, social environment. For our more advanced players, we’ll have dedicated courts set aside so they can enjoy competitive games and continue to improve their skills. Whether you’re brand new or already a baller, this class has a spot for you! Note: This class is held at the courts at Bryan County Recreation off Timber Trail. Transport is not available for this class. Parents must drop off and pick up at the start and end times of class.

Canva Workshop Join Laura and Sara for a fun, hands-on Canva class designed for everyone—from complete beginners to experienced Canva users! We’ll start with the basics of creating and designing with a free Canva account in the Canva Beginner Workshop, then work our way into more advanced tools and features available with Canva Pro in the Canva Intermediate Workshop. Throughout the class, you’ll learn practical tips and tricks while creating projects you can actually use, such as invitations, graduation banners and signs, flyers, social media graphics, Christmas cards, and more. Whether you’ve never opened Canva before or you already use it and want to learn some new tricks, you’ll leave with the skills and confidence to create polished, professional-looking designs for work, home, and special occasions. No design experience required—just come ready to create! Participants must bring their own device.

Richmond Hill Social Richmond Hill Social is a six-week course designed to help middle school students build confidence, respect, and polished social skills. Through fun, hands-on lessons, students will learn the art of introductions, conversation, proper table manners, and social grace for a variety of settings. Students will also explore appropriate dress for different occasions including how to tie a tie and present themselves with confidence and poise. Modeled after traditional etiquette and social programs for young people, this class blends timeless manners with modern relevance. The experience concludes with a Family Etiquette Dinner where students showcase everything they've learned in a refined, celebratory setting. Please note: Payment for the Family Etiquette Dinner is included in the enrollment fees. Please choose whether your family will include one parent or two parents for that event. No refunds are available regardless of attendance.
