Introduction to Welding and Basic Small Engine Repair
Introductory Welding for Adults (16+)
This six-week course will will cover the basics of shielded metal arc welding (stick), MIG, and flux core welding in addition to basic small engine repair. The class will meet on Monday evenings from 6:00 to 7:30 in the Agricultural Mechanics classroom (1448) at the new Richmond Hill High School. This is an opportunity for local residents ages 16 and up who would like to explore basic welding techniques and/or learn about basic repairs for small engine equipment.

Classes will be instructed by Dr. Dennis Moore, the high school Agricultural Mechanics teacher. Dr. Moore has been certified in shielded metal arc welding by the American Welding Society.
